I thought I would share with you a slight obsession that goes back to the 90s. It all started when my Mom and Dad bought me a tape (yes, I said tape!) called Take That and Party. My obsession began!
My room was covered in posters, my school stationary was covered with the TT logo and my life was consumed with all things Mark, Gary, Robbie, Howard and Jason.
The only thing I never got to do was to see them live. School friends would come into class the day after going to a show and the envy I felt was huge. I always said it was the one thing I wanted to do that I would never get to as first Robbie left and then the group was no more :( I wasn't one of the girls you saw crying and wailing on the TV at this news but I was upset.
Fast forward a few years and the rumours started that a reunion tour was in the pipeline. Here was my chance to tick that things to do box. Luckily I managed to get tickets and I'm not embarrassed to admit that at the show I resorted to acting as I would have the first time round! Since the comeback tour I have been lucky enough to go to every tour since. At the circus tour me and my sister managed to get right at the front (it took 7 hours of queuing but it was so worth it!)
The icing on the cake was the last album and tour when Robbie returned. I finally felt at the progress tour that I had experienced all that I missed out on the first time.
Some people hate boybands but for me Take That will always be my number one.
